Accessibility

How Arkansas Pavement approaches accessibility, and how to tell us if any part of this site is hard to use.

Arkansas Pavement wants everyone to be able to use this website comfortably, including people who rely on assistive technology. This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link on every page
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Color choices checked for sufficient contrast
  • Forms with visible labels and clear error messages
  • Full keyboard operability, with visible focus styles
  • Reduced-motion preferences respected for animations and page transitions

Ongoing work

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a finished checkbox. We review the site as content changes and fix issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.
